Workflow of POS Attendance Management App
Backend Configuration: Go to Employee settings in the backend and ensure that employees have a PIN code configured and are linked to their respective users.
Employee Experience: On the Point of Sale screen, an 'Attendance' button is available. When clicked, it prompts the user to select an employee and enter their PIN. After successful authentication, they can check in or check out with a single click, and the record is instantly saved in the HR Attendance module!
1. Role-Based Attendance Permissions: Assign Basic, Advanced, and Minimal rights to control which employees can access POS attendance features.
2. Check In/Check Out in POS: Allows employees to easily check in and check out directly from the Point of Sale interface with a simple header button.
3. Employee Card Selection: Displays a clean card layout for selecting the employee profile during check-in and check-out.
4. Secure PIN Verification: Ensures attendance integrity by prompting employees to enter their secure security PIN when logging in or out.
6. Real-Time Working Timer: Displays a live clock in the POS navbar to track employee session duration and total worked hours for the day.
5. Instant Attendance Notifications: Show real-time success notifications immediately after employee check in or check out for clear attendance confirmation.
7. Logout Work Description: Collects a summary/description of tasks completed by the employee upon checking out from the POS interface.
7.1. Clock Out Work Duration Notification: When an employee clocks out, a notification will display their total worked time directly on the POS screen.
8. Backend Attendance Logs: Automatically stores check-in/out timestamps, work hours and task descriptions in the backend attendance records.
9. Employee Cost Calculation: Computes the employee's hourly rate and total shift cost dynamically based on check-in and check-out durations.
10. Enable Attendance Lock: Navigate to the user settings and enable the attendance lock button to activate the restriction feature.
11. Read-Only Attendance Logs: Once an attendance record is locked, it becomes completely read-only and no further changes can be made by users.
